This policy explains what personal data ARCVIEW collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We sell aluminium windows and doors to businesses; we only collect what we need to answer enquiries and ship projects.
01Who is responsible
The data controller is Foshan Arcview Aluminium Systems Co., Ltd., No. 18 Lianhe Industrial Avenue, Nanhai District, Foshan, Guangdong 528200, China. For any privacy question or request, email export@arcview-systems.com with the subject “Privacy”. We reply within 30 days.
02What we collect
Information you give us through our forms:
- Quote requests — name, company, email, country, phone (optional), project size, product interest, message and any drawings you attach.
- Catalogue, certificate and factory-tour requests — name, email, company and the details you enter.
- Distributor applications — company details, region, trading history and brands carried.
- Buyer tools — window schedules you upload to the schedule quote tool, project location and building details entered in the compliance, U-value and landed-cost tools, video-inspection bookings (time zone, preferred slot, platform) and after-sales requests linked to a unit serial number (owner, installation date, issue description).
Technical data collected automatically: IP address (used briefly for abuse protection and not stored with your enquiry), browser type, pages visited and referring site.
03Why we use it and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations and deliver orders — steps taken at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the site secure and block spam, including rate limiting and an optional Cloudflare Turnstile check — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To understand which pages help buyers, using cookieless Vercel Web Analytics — our legitimate interest; no personal profile is created.
- To measure campaigns with Google Analytics 4 — only if you click “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
06International transfers
Our sales team is based in China and our processors operate in the United States and other countries. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
07How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become orders — 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Customer and order records — 7 years, to meet export, tax and warranty obligations.
- Uploaded drawings — deleted with the enquiry, or kept with the project file if you order.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Email export@arcview-systems.com and we will verify your identity before acting on the request.
09Security
All traffic is encrypted with TLS. Attachments are stored privately and are reachable only through signed links sent to our sales team. Access to enquiries is limited to staff who need it.
10Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for 30 days.
